Gibby's paintings, as noted by you in another post, continue to be exhibited at Red Hook Labs' Kidd Yellin gallery in Brooklyn, 133 Imlay St.
The watercolors will be on display at a September 26th fundraiser at the space for Showpaper, the all-ages underground arts newsprint founded by Brooklyn music impresario Todd P www.toddpnyc.com
Thanks for the info, however I have been unable to ascertain the hours that the gallery is open, as it isn't listed on the website and nobody ever answered my email inquiry.
Hi Jill. You can rest assured that Gibby's paintings will ABSOLUTELY be on display for public viewing at Kidd Yellin on the night of Saturday September 26th starting at 7pm. It is a benefit for ShowPaper, the all-ages indie music and art publication. Gibby generously lent his PA system for the bands that will be performing-- he unfortunately won't be in attendance (he's on tour with Butthole Surfers)...but what a great, generous guy :) Hope you can make it! It is at 133 Imlay Street, Bklyn. They Wyckoff address you mentioned is underground venue Silent Barn, where ShowPaper is headquartered. This benefit (with Gibby paintings and all) should be fantastic. Here's the Facebook invite for more info: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=135524738889&ref=mf
