Corpus Christi
I like this tidbit from "Today in History"
In 1996, Gibby Haynes, lead singer of "The Butthole Surfers," unleashed a tirade at a concert audience in Corpus Christi, Texas after he was struck by a watch thrown on stage. He told the 5,000 fans to "shut up and go home," then called Corpus Christi a city of "white trash."
Here is another reference to that story, in a 1996 interview slash history of the Butthole Surfers.
