Rush Limbaugh Mystery

Once, purportedly in 1991 Rush Limbaugh said that he banned Gibby Haynes from his show. However, the video on youtube that showed this is no longer available. If anybody has it, I would love to post it.

Here are two posts about the incident:

That was on my CheeseEnema Youtube "channel" which was unceremoniously dumped and banned over one brief rare clip of Neil Innes on SNL. When NBC started issuing the Complete SNL box sets, they apparently complained about it and in response. without warning, Screwtube wiped out two years' worth of entirely Fair Use rarities along with it.

I'm 1nceBitten2wiceShy on YT now (for obvious reasons) and I upload stuff rarely and with great caution. The edited clip I had posted online is probably lost, but somewhere I do have the VHS tape copy of the Rush TV episode as well as the quotes I got from Gibby (who insisted he was nowhere near NYC at that time) and Limbaugh's very pleasant producer "Kit Carson" (who admitted that Rush was probably the victim of a prank).

Email me: middlenamewayne@yahoo.com if you really want me to put some effort into this...

A brief clip from the Rush speech, along with guest appearances by Pinkus & Haynes, can be found on my newly re-re-re-edited DVD "Too Drunk To Shuck (The HICKOIDS In CORNcert and Tellin' CORNy Stories". As before, any interested parties can mail me at middlenamewayne[at]yahoo.com for purchasing info.

Thanks for the info about this incident. Very interesting. Have you considered reposting the video with the bit from SNL edited out?
